This document presents formulations for the viscosity and the thermal conductivity of heavy water in its fluid phases.
NOTE: The viscosity formulation in this document is obsolete, having been replaced by the
Release on the IAPWS Formulation 2020 for the Viscosity of Heavy Water.
Revision History
- This Release was adopted by IAPWS in 2007, as a minor revision of the formulation originally adopted in 1984.
- The viscosity formulation became obsolete with the adoption of the IAPWS Formulation 2020 for the Viscosity of Heavy Water in early 2021.
This Release is the product of the Working Group "Thermophysical Properties of Water and Steam" (TPWS) of the International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS).
