IAPWS meets annually and holds International Conferences on the Properties of Water and Steam at approximately four-year intervals. The most recent meeting was held August 26-31, 2007 in Lucerne, Switzerland; the Press Release from the meeting is available here.

The 2004 Annual Meeting, which was also the 14th International Conference on the Properties of Water and Steam, was held in Kyoto, Japan, August 29 - September 3, 2004. The Press Release on the Conference is here.
