IAPWS meets annually and holds International Conferences on the Properties of Water and Steam at approximately four-year intervals.

The 2011 meeting was held September 4-9, 2011 in Plzeň (Pilsen), Czech Republic. The Highlights of the meeting are available in Word and PDF formats.

The 2008 Annual Meeting, which was also the 15th International Conference on the Properties of Water and Steam, was held in Berlin, Germany, September 7-11, 2008. The Conference Proceedings are available.

The 14th International Conference on the Properties of Water and Steam, was held in Kyoto, Japan, August 29 - September 3, 2004.
Proceedings of the conference have been published as Water, Steam and Aqueous Solutions for Electric Power: Advances in Science and Technology, Proceedings of the 14th International Conference on the Properties of Water and Steam, Eds. The 16th International Conference on the Properties of Water and Steam will be in Great Britain in 2013.
